This page explains how to permanently delete your Focus Study Timer account and the data associated with it, and what happens when you do.

Deleting your account from the app

Open Focus Study Timer
Tap the profile icon in the top-left of the home screen
Scroll to the bottom and tap DELETE ACCOUNT
Confirm by choosing Erase everything

This cannot be undone. Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period and no way for us to restore the data afterwards.

What is deleted

Everything below is erased from our servers immediately:

What is retained

We retain no personal data of yours after deletion. There is no retention period on our side.

Two things sit outside our control:

Aggregated analytics and advertising data already collected by Google (Google Analytics for Firebase and Google AdMob) is held by Google under their own privacy policy and retention schedules. It is not linked to your account after deletion.
Data stored only on your device that is not tied to your account — your timer settings, focus session history and any custom audio you added — is removed when you uninstall the app.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific content:

Delete a single study unit — press and hold it in the Study Units list, then confirm. It is removed from our servers and your device.
Clear a conversation — tap the delete icon in the Study Assistant. Every message in that conversation is removed from our servers and your device.

Your account, sign-in and settings are unaffected by either.

If you have already uninstalled the app

You can request deletion by email. Write to the address below from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and delete the account and all associated data within 30 days.
